ProMariner Ground Wire Alarm
#1
I just purchased a 2008 Sovran 3900. The boat was in the water in Cheboygan.  The boat was plugged into a 50 amp receptacle at Wastroms and everything was fine. Took the boat out a couple of times and everything and survey of electrical system was OK. This week we moved the boat to Grand Haven. We stopped at the Charlevoix municipal marina. When we plugged the boat into the 50 amp service the ProMariner alarm for Ground Wire was going off. Tried the test button and moving plugs but that did not work. When we got to Grand Haven same issue. Other boats were in the same slips the day before with no issues. Any idea what I need to do?

Had similar problem at marinas with ground fault system on the shore power. The Promariner galvanic isolator is not compatible with ground fault shore power. I am replacing with a new isolator #22074.
Promariner tech support was helpful. Bruce 800 824 0524
