Has anyone had any issues with the hard top on their 42 open? Looking to move into one for my next boat. I has a 34' Pursuit that had issues with the hardtop. I am not a fair weather boater and I want to make sure its a robust boat.
We also regularly run in less than ideal conditions. The only issue we have had with our hardtop is the bottom plate on the brace in the middle cracked a few years ago. My engineer removed, welded a thicker plate on (as well as shortened the "arms" by the same thickness), painted and reinstalled. No issues since.
