Considering purchase of 2001 3100 open. Long way from Destin FL to Miami. Can trailer boat or drive it home. Fuel burn would probably be as much as a three axle trailer would cost. Anyone trailer a 3100? What trailer used? thanks

While you can certainly buy a trailer, you can also have it shipped (U-ship), but it sure would be fun just to drive it!

I trailer a 32 but only 35 miles each way. 3/4 ton diesel truck minimun. Therwe are permit companies that can set you all up and get you a route that considers construction and bridge heights.

I bought my 31 from a guy in tampa area who modified a mobile home trailer to fit. Had a uship driver tow it to Jacksonville. Sold the trailer for what I paid for it. Didn't have room to store it. All went smooth.
