My vacuflush is tripping the breaker when I try to use it. First problem I've had with it.

Check for blockage of one of the duckbills before or after the pump.

Do you hear the Vaccu pump running at all? Or does it not even try to run?

It doesn't even try. As soon as I touch the pedal the breaker trips and it also trips without touching the pedal.

You have an electrical short. If you do not know electronics, you can try just replacing the pump.

That was my initial thought. I will verify that the ground side is good then try jumping the positive side of pump connection to see if it runs and go from there. I replaced both engines this past spring and it's to bad it wasn't failing when I had plenty of room to work the problem.

I would not recommend jumping the motor as a first step. All you are doing is bypassing the pressure switch, but those never short to ground anyway since that is all but impossible the way they are installed. Normally you’d check to see what resistance the motor coil has and check if it is shorted, and take it from there.
