Tiara Open 2002 3800 w/450 Cummins
#1
I am looking for the sweet spot for cruising at non planing speeds. This chart from Tiara shows it to be about 1009 rpm.

That is for a new boat.  Do you think it would make much difference in a fully loaded boat?

right before your wake gets too big.

the performance report shows 28 pitch props, probably not what you have, and doesn't have enough data points at low speeds to determine a sweet spot. I'd ignore it.

I have 24 x 28. I have heard that the sweet spot for slow or long distance cruising was when you see the bow start to rise you slow down a bit.

I guess I will have to look for this and declare  "There it is!" and remember where it was.  Cool
