Docking Lights
#1
I have a 1987 36 Open. The docking lights don't work. I want to being the process of troubleshoting but the boat is in the water. I was goingt to start with with the switches to turn them on. How do I get behind the swiches that are on the side on the helm area? Anyone ever try this?

If they are loaded into a panel that is attached with screws, remove the complete panel.
If you don't want to go through that, check for power at the light (when the switch is on) , the ballast or the relay if the lights utilize a ballast or relay.

They appear to be the OEM pull-on switches. I do not see any screws. I will have to hang over the front and remove a bulb to check. Thanks

You could send a picture to CR@TIARAYACHTS.COM and I will take a look at it. The pull on switch is not familiar to me.
