        Hello All!,
Just wanted to post some pics of my father-in-law's 1985-6 Tiara Slick Craft Avanti S2000.  I've been working on refurbishing it the past couple of years and finally finished!  Haven't seen many around and wondered if these are a rare bird?  Can't find any info on them from the interweb, and Tiara doesn't seem to know much either.  Thanks for any help.

I have had these inserts on my prior 35' and 43' but did not have on my 94 31 Open. Does anyone have one they can scribe onto a piece of paper and email/ mail to me so I can fabricate myself? Tiara and GG Schmidt do not stock this age shade any longer. It fits on the port light and is about 1/8" thick and has cutouts for the knob and hinges. Thanks rafredrickson@verizon.net

I'm the second owner of a 2009 Sovran purchased in 2014 in Boston and relocated to Branford CT.  During the survey a leak was discovered in the port engine (Volvo D600) hydraulic pump which circulates fluid to the IPS drive.  Engine hours were approximately 250 at time of purchase.  Mcdonald Marine a highly respected CT licensed Volvo service firm replaced the pump under warranty (I had to pay to haul and replace the the hydraulic fluid) during July 2014.  A year later the same pump failed again and was replace by Mcdonald in June 2015 under warranty.   This past weekend I found hydraulic fluid in the IPS and the underside of the year old port pump was wet to the touch.  A sure sign it is leaking based on my previous experiences.  Engine hours are now approximately 375 and the starboard pump is original equipment and has not leaked.  I cruise around 20 knots which is well below the rated maximum speed for the engines/boat.  Per Mcdonalds I am current on all Volvo recommended engine services.

Has anyone had a similar problem?  3 pumps in 3 years seems excessive.  I'm wondering if the failed pump is a result of another yet diagnosed problem although Mcdonalds has seen similar failures in other D600 engines and has speculated that there is a design or quality issue with the pumps.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
