I have a 1996 41 Open with 6V92 Detroit's and I am looking to put engine heaters on them. Has anyone done this? It seems impossible. Everyone I seem to talk to about this, has even an older Detroit with a little different configuration, and it is not the same. PLEASE, if anyone has the answer for this, send me a message, pictures, kinda of heater, etc...

I have used Wolverine heaters on my Cummins 6BTA. They adhere to the bottom of the oil pan. Love em'!

Thanks. I heard of these, but I would rather heat the antifreeze. Not crazy about grinding down the paint on the oil pan.
