If you have an early 8.1 Crusader be aware of a recall. 2001 S/N 610002 - 610892, 2002 S/N 620001 - 621065 or 2003 S/N 630001 - 630247 need a wiring harness update and a change of the crankshaft sensor. I contacted Michael Genna, the Crusader Service Manager at 803-345-1337 x 133 (mgenna@pleasurecraft.com) about my 2001 engines and he quickly mailed me the kits FREE of charge. The old sensor may give you a code 81 error. The new wire harness is a heavier gauge wire with a circuit breaker (4 cables). Capt. George
