Hate to ask again..I did search the forum mainly tips on removing the blades.

3100 open and cannot get the entire arm removed from the motor stud.

Have tried oiling etc..they just won't move.

Any tricks to this ?

If they are the same as my ‘89 3300 they are spring loaded. About 3” from the cap you will see a slight lift in the arm. Push down here and lift on the cap up off the stud. I needed to apply a bit of pressure on one with a big flat head and pry up off the stud.

I have a 98 3100 Open and also had problems. My windshield wiper was not working so I ended up cutting the shaft. Once I had removed the motor and the wiper was off, it was relatively easy to remove the wiper from the shaft. I think the angles and the tight space between the wiper and the canvas makes it difficult.
