Fuel tank leaking
#11
Congrates on the tanks, I hope all works out for you and I take it you didn't have to cut the deck. Update on mine new tank is with luck I should have it this week and I'll get it to the boat and hopefully they can start the process of putting things back together. I'll update as the progress gets going.

New tank is in the boat now and all the finishing work starts. AIM Welding did the tank and if your in the FT. Lauderdale area and need a tank made, talk to Scott and Keith. Make sure you tell them that Mark sent you.

My tanks are complete and will be re installed Saturday. We did have to cut the deck however, Tiara made a rectangular valley so we cut in the center of the valley. We angled the blade at 15 degrees so that it didn't drop through. We will not have to re glass any non skid. I suggest you bring your tank to the nearest Rhino Liner establishment and have them coat the tank with their chemical sealer. It is impervious to gas or diesel. More importantly, Their coating insulates the tank so condensation issues are greatly reduced. I have two 198 gallon tanks and they charged me $655.00 each to coat. Money well spent as the tanks will never corrode or leak again.

Boat is all done and just waiting for Saturday to but the fuel back in and get her over to my dock to continue with the little stuff like cabin door rollers and GPS antenna cable. I plan on doing that engine hatch extention as well so I can get a little closer to the impossible things to reach IE: raw water pump impeller. maybe if the timing is right, I might try to hook up on some sails on my way back home. cold front coming tomorrow and will be around for the weekend.
