I thought I would post this in case anyone else is facing the same issue. I have a 2003 3500 Open. The pump in my Rule Sump Box stopped working. I cleaned the box out but was not able to get the pump operating again so I decided to replace the entire box with a new one. That is when I figured out that Tiara had modified the box to accommodate a couple extra plumbing lines. Here is what was needed to replicate the modification on my boat:
Rule 98A shower drain kit;
7/8" spade bit (this new hole accommodates the hose from the AC condensate line; that hose comes with its own fitting that could be re-used);
1 3/8" hole saw;
Sea Choice plastic thru-hull hose fitting (part 18091); and
Permatex Gasket Maker, teflon string and marine silicone sealant.
The thru-hull fitting being added accommodates the shower drain. The hose from my shower drain was stretched a bit such that I was getting some drips even with the double worm gear clamps. I beefed up the new thru hull flange with some Permatex liquid gasket maker and teflon string to stop the leak.
