It doesn’t happen often but sometimes the vacuum generator itself (the plastic tank like thing the vacuum pump sits on) can develop a crack.
A spray bottle with soapy water is your friend. As is turning everything off (to eliminate ambient noise). Don’t expect bubbles. It’s a vacuum system. The soapy water often create a whistling kind of noise at the leak.

Hi - I also have a 2008 43' Sovran, and I have the same issue. We have replaced all the valves and seals and still have a loss of vacuum pressure from the forward head. We pressure tested the hose that runs from the head back to the vacuum pump and it does not hold the pressure. Thus we know this is where we have the issue.
Were you able to solve the issue without tearing apart the whole boat? Was the line attached anywhere?
Please let me know.
Thanks.
Tom
I learned the hard way that plastic hoses, as they age, will become absorbent and be a source of odor. I replaced all hoses on my 1995 31 Open and that solved the odor issue. Plus regular use of Noflex Digestor!

Thanks, but I don't have an odor problem. I have a loss of vacuum problem.

I had 2 verrrry slow vac leaks in my 2 heads on my 2004 5200 with a vacuflush system. After 2 repairs including a flush valve seal gasket and head fixture floor gasket replacement on both one leak was the o-ring on the head flush valve stem and the other was a connection between the vac pump and the plastic tank on the vac pump assembly. Please note that both the flush valve seat gasket and the head fixture floor gasket should be changed on the manufacturer's PM schedule as both needed it anyway.
I own or perhaps it owns me....2008 Tiara 39 Sovran. Just replaced all sanitation hoses and rebuild the two pumps. all hoses that pass thru a bulkhead inside a pvc pipe are seal with heavy silicon, to remove hoses, the silicon must be removed and then deal with clamps in places that you cannot reach. If anyone needs guidance on how to do it on a 39 Sovran, just ask and I will respond.
I have just encountered the same issue on my 2007 4300 Sovran. Forward head pump cycles approximately every 3 minutes. Toilet bowl holds water. Replaced duck bill valves and no change in cycling time. Local vacu-flush tech suggested changing out black water plumbing lines. I have examined Tiara schematics and cannot find any designed access points to assess feasibility of a DIY job. Have you fixed your issue?
