If your 99 is the same as my 99 4000, it pulls from the center/Aux tank. Access to it is under the panel in the cabin sole right in front of the fridge.
Unless a previous owner changed your plumbing, you can’t shift tanks for the genset either. It always pulls from the Aux tank. The mains you can change from either their respective tank or the Aux tank.
