portholes
#5
I am in the middle of doing my screens on my 2004 3100 Open. I don't think it is too difficult for someone with average capability. So far I have been able to remove the screen insert from the inside of the portholes. Use an awl or small flat screw driver to wedge between the rubber seal and the screen. Once you get the rubber to pull away from the porthole it peels away all the way around from the inside of the porthole. That exposes the screen insert which easily pops out. This is where I am at now. I should be able to find a way to fit the new screen and clamp it while securing it with silicone. Once dry I will trim the excess and silicone the rubber seal back in.
