Has anyone repowered an '84 3100 open with V6 or V8 diesels? My preference would be the Mercury V8 370hp but if the fitment will not allow, then the Mercury V6 270 TDI is my next choice. I thought about the Hyundai Seasall S270 but the cost is prohibitively high. Any insight welcomed. TIA.
