I own a 2000 3500 and love it for fishing. Some of them came with the rear seat, others came without it. If you going to fish, look for the one without. Not sure if they are removable or not as mine never had one. Under the seat, of the hatch, is a large large fish box. Almost to big really. It is the only fish box in the floor. I wish it was a little smaller as you can fit two full size humans in that thing. It is great to keep my dinghy in when we go to the Bahamas though.
