I have had a 3900 Sovran and now have a 4400/4700. I selected the 44/47 after seeing the nightmare pricing on pod reseals and replacements. The other factor was that there isn't a Volvo dealer within a 2 hour run from my home port.
The 4400 has HUGE wheels, actually too big (another story). At low idle, with the wide set props, you can spin it on a dime and the bow thruster is really only there for wind correction.
Mine has the two perpendicular bunks in the second stateroom due to the washer/dryer combo.
The 4400 was 44,000 lbs in the straps with full fuel, half water and gear. She is VERY seaworthy. The 3900 tended to slap a bit in heavy seas.
There are 2 great facebook groups. Tiara Yacht Owners and Tiara Boat Owners Club.
Cheers!
