do I need to remove steps to get to shower sump pum. How do you remove?

Some Tiaras place the shower sump below the cabin entrance steps. If your sump pump is located here, then yes, you have to remove the steps to full access this area. There are two inboard cleats (just strips of wood attached to the inside port and starboard edges of the staircase). There are screws going down through the cleats and into the floor (5 or 6 screws on each side). Remove the screws carefully - you don't want to strip the heads out - use the proper sized Phillips bit with an extension if you need to get the proper angle. Once all the screws are out, You should be able to carefully remove the stair case so you can access the sump. Make sure while the stair are out, that you either keep the door locked or make so no one can accidentally enter the cabin and fall.
