1993 3100 Open exhaust hose. Wired or unwired?
#1
I want to replace a 27” piece of 4” exhaust hose. Is it wired or unwired hose? What’s the difference?

I do believe ALL exhaust hose is wired. The difference is a wire they runs through it that makes it stronger. Prevents collapse/expansion.

It is not that bad to work with.
I use a welders wrap and sharpie to mark ,cut around pipe with shears to both sides of wire and snip with side cutting pliers.
