I am looking at a Cummins QSB powered 36, 380 HP each. I would like to hear from any owners about the good or bad. Is it a wet riding boat, good fuel economy etc. Thanks in advance.

The Admiral and I lover our 2005 3600. She is comfortable, roomy, very dry, stable and economical (burn is about 25 gal per hour at 26 mph if my gauges are accurate). No regrets with our purchase. Would caution you to check for moisture in the deck though...good luck.

Thank you for the reply. I had deck problems with my Pursuit, where in particular would you be talking about?
Mine had an issue because of a poorly installed flagpole holder on the transom gunwale. My surveyor also thought there might be some around the windlass, but I don't see any evidence of it. I've heard of folks having trouble around the port holes. I don't know enough about checking but maybe a good surveyor would use a meter, mine just used a hammer to test.

I had to rip the foredeck off because the windlass was mounted poorly. There was a solid block between the deck up there but the windlass was only on half of it. The rest was on the balsa core, lots of coring replaced.

BTW, what engines do you have? I am going to look at her this weekend.

The broker made a mistake, these are 425s. We are close to making a decision on this boat, it looks like it would suit our needs to a t. I see you boat on the Sound, where about? We are over on the Peconic Bay.
We are in the Western Sound, typically from Manhasset Bay out to Northport, but have been up and down the Sound, in the Peconic, and as far as Martha's Vineyard. She's handled all our travels very well. The boat has been GREAT for us. Hope yours works out
