I'm a little confused as your title indicates a 1994 4000 express but your vessel info states a 2002 38 Open. My 2003 38 Open, plan A has a Nov Kool refrigerator/Freezer combo (Tiara installed original unit)... The model is a RFS7501 with the following specs 7.5 cu. ft. & the cutout size should be 34” Height, 28” Width & 22” Depth.. I've also attached a photo of the Nov Kool.

Summit makes a direct replacement unit at about half the price of Subzero. Just replaced mine.   Freezer still going strong so I haven’t address that yet.

Can you provide the Summit model number?  TIA

I see this is an old thread but I'll add some relevant info for those who may be researching: I replaced my refrigerator and freezer with Summit units as well. The model numbers are: FF63BK and SCFF1533B. Both units are in black finish. I paid $904 for the refrigerator and $1,465 for the freezer in 2022. Both units fit through the companionway opening. (Took the door off the refrigerator). The power consumption is a fraction of my old Uline units.
