Hi Salt Shaker.
The part in question is called a "linear actuator", which is manufactured by several companies. All are listed on the Internet.
Good luck.

Hello all, i'm new to the forum and a first time owner of a Tiara. I recently purchased a 1995 3100 and it's missing the linear actuator for the windshield vent. Can anyone tell me what length of stroke or model number i should be looking for?
Thanks in advance!

Measure the distance from the mounting brackets on the dash and window. That gives you the retracted measurement. Then open the window and make a few measurements to see where it would normally look like it should. When you start googling linear actuators that will help narrow it down to the stroke.

Any chance someone could post some pictures of a 31 actuator attachment to the window? My 31 doesn't have one and I have been trying to figure out how to fabricate one.
