I recently purchased a 36' 2006 open it has a fridg. in cabin and one in the cockpit behind helm.
Both units are A/C D/C but the only the unit in cabin works on D/C. There is a circuit breaker switch , under steps, for both units on a/c panel but only one switch in the D/C panel.
I can't get a straight answer from Tiara if they wired vessel to run both units under D/C power or just the cabin fridg.
Anyone out there with similar boat. Thanks Frank
I can tell you with 98% certainty, you will not find any pre wired harnesses for deck fridge. In 2003/2004 we began pre-wiring options but only the wires for "long wire run" options were put in the standard harnesses. If the option had one or multiple separate option specific harnesses they were not manufactured. I can also tell you when an option was not installed any wiring for that option was wire tied back as far as possible and hidden. This way technicians would not confuse the wiring with other component circuits. I have seen technicians waste many hours trying to locate hidden and non-existent wiring. You will be ahead in the long run to install new wiring.
