I am looking at a 2003 35 Open that has the apparently rare CAT 3126 power plant.  I have read that CAT engines had some issues around that time, primarily the 3116 series, but some comments seem to bleed over to the 3126 serier as well.  Does anyone here have this setup and, if so, how has your experience been?  Thanks in advance.

I don't have an answer for you however in addition to posting your question here, I would sign up for Boatdiesel.com and browse there as well.  The knowledge base on that site when it comes to diesel engines etc is probably the best on the net...
