Going into 2nd season with my 2002 3100 Open. She still has the original vhf radio installed and the mic cord is all worn out. Time to replace it but really do not want to have to make the hole any larger as I am planning on all new electronics in the next year or so and want to keep as much room available as possible. Has anyone found a replacement with the exact same dimensions as the Ray215?

Got to side with Capt Brett on this one. The Icom M506 is an Awsome piece of equipment. otherwise I think standard horizon has a smaller unit that may fit with a cover plate. you can also get a command mic setup from Icom (m400 black box) and hide the base unit behind the dash. Then it's just a cover plate until you redo your dash.
