Hello, new here and I just purchased a 1989 31 Open. Been looking for a Tiara for a really long time. Finally found one. 

It has side underwater exhaust that appears to have some type of molding that is screwed on. One of the moldings on the port side is broken off, starboard side is intact. I am wondering why they are there and ifI Ineed to replace the one broken or can I remove the one that is already there?

I believe the part you are referring to is called an exhaust deflector. Not sure if its required or not, might need to contact Tiara directly for this one.
