Hello I have a leak at the bottom of the water tank. It's possibile to see it from the top of the tank. The tank is made of metal but the leak is difficoult to reach.
Does anyone know how is possibile to solve the problem?
I was thinking to make o whole in the flore to be able to access the leake and try to weld it.
What do you think?

I just replaced both my water and waste tanks. 42 open as well. They were both leaking. The water tank was leaking on the forward lower seam, and the holding tank was had corroded on the bottom of the tank. The floor was cut out from the electrical panel under the stairs forward to the floor hatch by the head. Cutting along the holly strip. Everything is now back and looks great.

The problem with making a hole to weld it in place is that it may not be able to be welded in place.

Welding in place can be dangerous. Fiberglass when brought to temperature burns very well. There always a risk when welding in close proximity to fiberglass. A stray spark can burn the whole boat down. If it were me and you are fairly certain the tank is leaking from a welded seem and not a hose or fitting, I would cut the floor out large enough to pull the entire tank as Outrigger did. If there are other tanks, hoses and fittings in that location, I would renew them as well before you put the floor back in place. It would be awful to fix the tank, seal everything up and have to go back in for something else.
