Does anyone have the transom bait tank ? do they work well ?
I'd trade my transom bench seat for a bait tank if anyone needs extra seating.
Hi Groper, did you find a solution for your bait tank? I have recently purchase a 2005 3800 open and I am looking to do the same. I am also thinking removing the rear facing seat behind the helm and putting it there. Just worried about putting 500 to 600 lbs on one side of the boat

Looks like you have the boat that I'm looking for! I'm also curious about those transom bait tanks, and how well they work. Seems to be very space-efficient for those that want a live bait tank.
I just purchsed a 2006 3800 with the baitwell. I would gladly trade them for a transom bench seat but I think this cannot be done. Let me know what you think. Located in Puerto Rico.
