I'm changing the oil in my Cummins 6 CTA 8.3 year 2000 for the first time.
I plan to use Rotella Diesel (non-synthetic).
What type of oil should I use, T1 or T4.

I've been using Rotella T4 15W40 for years... Believe it was just Rotella T 15W40 T1 years back but can't guarantee that... I have been very pleased with it over the 16+ years I've owned my 2003 38 Open w/Cummins 6CTA 8.3 Diamonds... I also use 30W Rotella for the ZF transmissions....M2C
