I am the owner of a beloved Tiara 3100 Open.  I have had alternator problems and fount that one of the boards in the Charles external voltage regulator was bad.  I replaced the alternator with an internally regulated one and I don't know how to wire it properly bypassing the external regulator.  Can anyone help me.

Have 4 supporting 2 front sections of windshield on an older 2600 model. 

Of note is the "WB" embossed on the knob. 

Anyone en ounter these and have a source? Would Tiara still have something that is very old?

I am interested in adding helm ac to my ‘03 3800 Open.  The ac vent fan is teasing me but is just not enough.  Being on the Great Lakes, we can see pretty hot weather along with needing the heat to extend the shoulders of the season.  Curious if anyone has done this to theirs.  Questions:  What was the size you installed?  Did you add a pump or just upsize the original? Was the size big enough to cool the cockpit?  Did you do 115 or 230vac?  Where was it installed and where were the vents located?  What would you do differently?

Year is 2000 (new to me) and I want to know if anyone has the complete fuel system diagram including the generator... I believe the generator pulls from the center tank and port and starboard engines pull from the port and starboard tanks respectively (unless you change the fuel valves (I think... see inserted pic) in the aft of the engine room and when you change them do they change the return fuel as well?) and would like to know if there is a provision to fill the center tank from the saddle tanks.

   

have a 42 open, it has a painted hull, over the years(2003) it has faded a bit and also has a few bruises that have been fixed and painted, however after all these years the paint is very hard to match (dark blue hull) thinking that i may just paint entire boat, any clue what that would run these days? i do not need any fiberglass work (that i am aware of) so just the paint, most likely only gonna keep the boat 5 more years max, even toyed with the idea of a wrap but i am afraid it would hurt the value when i go to sell, any thoughts?

the magnetic strip on my fridge in the galley is just about shot, how do you go about repairing that? big job? any of you had to do this on your boat yet? any suggestions?
