I am tracking down an issue with my water system on my '03 3800 Open, and am trying to figure out how the heck to get the 90 degree threaded adaptor (according to the build sheet the boat came with in the binder) out. That thing is really, really in there and it looks like it should just screw out, but dang! Any hints or has anyone done this? I am hoping that the end of the pick up tube is clogged or the tube itself is has a crack and I clean and/or replace it. I am losing prime and the pumps run and water doesn't really come out of the faucets.....
Thanks, Matt
Thanks, Matt

We learned a lot in the past months on the forum and appreciate every thing we learned. We upgraded from a Whaler Conquest. Today we became the new owners of a 2000 3500 Express. The boat has been Great Lakes freshwater since new. The surveyor said we are essentially buying a near new boat. It has twin Cummins with 850 hours, Westerbeke is at 250 hours and the factory hardtop. We wanted the B plan but it was too good otherwise to not purchase. Being in the oil business, I ran oil samples with particle counts on the engines, generator and trans. The results were excellent. Amsoil synthetic since 2015. It has a hand written log and receipts. It should be on the Ohio River tomorrow.

I have a 2012 31' Coronet with 6.0L Crusader engines, with 384 hours. My port "red" check engine light comes on a start up and the "buzzer" is only intermittent. The temperature, oil pressure and voltage are the same for both engines and the boat runs great.
My mechanic is stump. Any suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rick

Hi everyone,
I own a 2004 Tiara 32 (open) and I'm hoping someone can help me out with a problem I'm facing.
A few years ago, while running at high speed, I hit a large bundle of rope that wrapped around the strut and propeller. This ended up bending the strut. We straightened it, but didn't check the other side at the time. Now we've noticed that the angles of the propeller shafts are uneven, unequal on each side.
I understand that the angle between the two propellers in relation to the hull is called the toe-out. I need to determine this angle to properly fix the boat.
I contacted Tiara's representative, but they said they no longer keep information about my boat. I'm not sure I believe that, but regardless, I need to find the toe-out angle for my boat.
Does anyone know where I can find this information? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Good day everyone... trying to get some feedback on an estimate i received for doing the Engine coolant service on my IPS600's with 900 hours.
The service involves taking off the heat exchanger, charge the air cooler, fuel cooler, and gear cooler from both engines and sending out to be sonic cleaned and tested....starting at $4K per engine?? Is that a fair price? Have no idea
Feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Luis

I am new to this forum. We boat out of St. Joseph, MI. I am looking for a Tiara 31' Coronet to purchase. I would like to physically see one but do not know of any locally. The closest one for sale is in Ohio (4 hours). If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello, Rick Worley & Sharon from Denver.
Just bought a really nice 1983 3100 Open.
Very nice gentleman owned it for years, had the factory refurbish/renew the interior in 2005, shipped it to Ft. Lauderdale & had a very tidy, looks like factory custom hardtop fabricated & he boated out of Naples. He's moving to AZ, I had a 3607 Carver floating condo that needed a new home & bought the Tiara. Needs some minor work but is a really sound boat - both surveyors were impressed. I've been boating 11 years following 30 years of racing sports cars with Sports Car Club of America & spending time in Florida on the boat for the last 11 years.
Home port was Niceville (Destin), FL, then a fun 5 day transit across Big Bend delivering the Carver to Placida near PortCharlotte/Ft.
Myers. Member of US Power Squadron with AP rating. Plan is to refurbish the Tiara, fully retire from dentistry in the Fall, snowbird in our Ft. Myers Condo & summer in Denver.
Wife Sharon is a retired French middle/ highschool teacher & Denver native.

Looking for info on older 3100 open crusader power gas tank configuration - are they set up as port tank for port motor - starboard to starboard or is there a common line connecting both tanks together? If one runs low will it balance or feed to other? Or a valve to divert one to other. Thanks for info

Pending survey, which I've no doubt will be good, we will own the most impeccable condition 2000 Express 35 we have found after looking for 9 months. Fresh water since new. Factory hardtop and twin Cummins, 850 hours. Very detailed hand written maintenance log since 2015 with receipts. We had hoped for a "B" plan but the boat was too good otherwise to pass on. Has anyone converted converted from an A to a B front berth.
Thanks, Mike
