We have a 3600 Convertible that is new to us. Ground tackle is an anchor, about 5 feet of chain and then anchor rode. The boat doesn’t have a true windless, just a power winch similar to what you’d find on a snailboat. I would like to upgrade the anchor and go to all chain. Part of the upgrade would be installing a true windless. I did a search and no old threads came up with this subject. I was hoping someone had done this before and may have some advice, or words of wisdom.

Own a 2011 Tiara Sovran 45 with twin IPS600's, this past Memorial day weekend I was at the dock getting ready to head out. and I had a fire breakout behind my generator........still in the discovery phase as to what happened.....2' X 2' burned hole behind the generator on the wall going to my kids stateroom. Thankfully i was able to put out the fire before it burned all the way through. But there burnt cables, hoses etc behind genset and who knows what else...
Calling out to see if there are any recommendations of where to take my boat for repairs in the Fort Lauderdale area. Been having trouble trying to find a reputable repair facility that can fix all of the repairs in one place.

This has happened 2 days in a row. Running my 93 3100 about 5 miles up the coast to my fishing spot. After fishing for a couple hrs I head back running between 24&32 rpm just as I get to the inlet the port engine dies.  It turns over but seems like no spark. Then 15 mins later at the dock it fires right up. Any ideas?  It runs cool 150degrees

Does anyone know if the pod system has a low gear oil sensor ?? I find it tremendously difficult to get to the dipstick and only check a couple times a year , I understand this is not ideal but you need to be a yoga instructor to fit in the space to access the dipstick and would like a warning if the gear oil gets low.  Thanks

I am in the process of purchasing a 2008 Sovran 4300 with IPS.   Does anyone know if it should have the T3 or T4 propeller size and what real world cruise and max speed I should expect?

Hi      I own a 07  30 open,  very nice condition    Newport Beach CA.    I have owned many boats over the years  8' sabot on up 72; Ocean Alexander-      this one is perfect run around low stress.

Will probably upgrade to a 36 Coronet 6-12 months from now.
